No. You don’t need to have everything decided. You can contact us with an interest, a goal, or a question, and we’ll talk it through with you. Where learning is linked to your job, we’ll also work with your employer to make sure it’s the right fit.
Our programmes are available to learners aged 16 and over. Some programmes are aimed at people who are already in work, while others may be suitable for different circumstances. If you’re unsure whether you’re eligible, we’re happy to talk it through with you.
All learners complete an induction at the start of their programme. This helps you understand how learning will work, what’s expected, and what support is available. Where learning is work based, we also work closely with line managers to make sure everyone is clear on their role.
Entry requirements depend on the programme. Some require previous qualifications, while others do not. Where relevant, we will ask for copies of certificates and guide you through what’s needed during induction.
Learning is designed to fit alongside your role and responsibilities wherever possible. We’ll explain how learning time is planned and how it links to your work, and we’ll work with you and, if relevant, your employer to keep this manageable.
You’ll receive support throughout your programme. This includes regular contact with your tutor, guidance on your progress, and help if you need additional support at any point.
The length of each programme varies depending on the subject and level. We’ll clearly explain the expected duration and commitment before you start, so you know what to expect.
For programmes linked to your job role, learning is a partnership. We work closely with employers and line managers to support progress, review development, and make sure learning aligns with the workplace.
Completing a programme can help you build skills, confidence, and recognised knowledge. Many learners progress in their role, take on new responsibilities, or move on to further learning, depending on their goals.
